The Lovers
I'd been wondering how to approach this card. I didn't want to show a male/female couple, because to me that's not what lovers are. I also didn't want to have multiple lovers cards. I wanted one, a simple card, to be gender irrelevant.
And then I saw this photo and I knew.
Card Meaning
Two trees twined one around the other. Starting out on their journey separately and ending it together.
They are together, but still individual and unique. They share a partnership, a synchronicity, they complement each other. They understand each other without question, as if they share one mind, with shared goals and dreams.
